TRIP TO OKOŘ CASTLE, 3 Oct. 2014
This time, the White Lady at Okoř didn’t go to sleep as early, because she took a real liking to us. She even let the sheriff below the castle show off and showed us the treasure the the Jesuits left there long ago. Of course, she is getting on in the years and has her ways – so it wasn’t for free. We had to find five keys for the treasure – only so could the chest be opened. Martin, Dorotka handed out the sweet mystery inside.
Our trip’s medieval nature was accentuated by the beautiful horse, and so our picture are almost kitschy. J Honzík, Áďa, Fíďa and Dorka are really very clever. It didn’t take long, and the soon the keys were all in one place – as was the treasure, which the children had no trouble finding. Then
At the end of tour trip, we (what else) were starving, and so we stopped by the castle’s inn in order to start to sing… “The road to Okoř is like none in a hundred…”
