World Autism Awareness Day
On April 2, 2013, we again participated in World Autism Awareness Day, which aims to call attention to autism as a worldwide problem. All around the world, people organized various events and projects, including the “Light it up blue” campaign. We decorated our autism classroom in blue, and the pupils also wore blue that day. We also organized a “blue” celebration for the other classrooms. The most fun aspect of the day (not only for the children) was the blue Smurf ice cream.
The ice cream was a gift from the Smis sweetshop, which Mr. Stome donated especially on this occasion.
