Start of the school year 2012 - 2013
“Ladies and gentlemen, welcome on board flight number 2012/2013.”
With these words our captains (the directors of the Primary School and Integration Center) welcomed the school’s pupils, parents and staff. This school year has been conceived as a nine-month flight with layovers around the holidays. We reminded everyone that dangerous items such as report books and drafting compasses are forbidden on our flight. All our “passengers” passed through security, and in place of a boarding pass they received a satin scarf. Then, to live musical accompaniment, they boarded the figurative airplane that will bring us all to our destination – the summer holidays. May we enjoy a smooth and pleasant flight. But now your attention, please… we are ready for takeoff!
