Project day “In the Mood for Advent” (2 December 2020)

On 2 December 2020, our classroom had a project day titled “In the Mood for Advent.” We spent the morning hours decorating the whole room with Christmas decorations, including the ceiling, the piano, and the door. We made an advent wreath with four candles and sang Christmas carols. Another beautiful activity was organized for us by the experienced ceramic artist, Mrs. Jitka Šimková. Under her watchful eyes, we used ceramic clay to make candles and bells that we could then give to our families. The whole program helped put us in the mood for advent and for Christmas, which is just around the corner.
