Celebrating the 15th anniversary of Zahrádka Primary School
This year, our school celebrated the 15th anniversary of its founding. We took advantage of the beautiful Indian summer to celebrate this jubilee anniversary with a garden party to which we invited past and present pupils and parents, and of course also representatives from our founding agency, sponsors, past and present employees and other friends. Director Dagmar Rosecká officially launched the celebrations at 3pm (15:00). Among other things, she also introduced the school’s new logo. Our new “bee” was so industrious and helpful that she even brought honey for us: Little packages of honey decorated the large tree in the middle of the garden, and everyone could “pluck” one and have a taste. Then the actors from the Studna theatre ensemble presented a play about rescuing a lost princess. The performance was a great success, as was the contest that all the children eagerly participated in. During the afternoon, we could purchase presents and small gifts from the Zahrada shop, including Fair Trade products, beads, and cakes… Those looking for a bite to eat could enjoy hot dogs or crepes, and the U zlatého kohouta tearoom offered minor refreshments and a chance to sample first-rate teas on the terrace. In the early evening, there was a performance by the band Alreens, whose repertoire includes music from Ireland and Brittany. I am sure that everyone who came to celebrate our 15th anniversary enjoyed a fun afternoon! Thank you for your support now and in the future.
